God’s will is perfect. God’s timing is perfect. God’s wisdom is perfect.
You don’t get any better than “perfect,” but for some reason we keep trying.
If I’ve learned one thing about the Kingdom, it’s this… Living within God’s Will is much more successful than trying to create God’s Will.
I have very ambitious dreams for the Church and I absolutely hate sitting still while there’s forward motion we could be taking. Good enough is NOT good enough!
But sometimes waiting on God’s timing is not the same thing as “sitting still.”
In the theme of Ecclesiastes 3…
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to work and a time to rest,
a time to plan and a time to pray,
a time to run and a time to sit,
a time to speak and a time to listen,
a time to invest and a time to save,
a time to train and a time to release,
a time to pioneer and a time to settle,
a time to model and a time to imitate,
a time for God’s Will and not for mine.
Stop trying to create God’s Will to fit you and just live in it. It’s already there! And it’s more perfect than yours could ever be.
